Yes, I do have breast cancer again as much as I hate to say it and yes, I'm going to do it again - I signed up for The 2010 Breast Cancer 3-Day! for the third year in a row. The 3Day begins on October 1st and ends sixty miles later on the 3rd. In order to participate and walk I need to raise a minimum of $2,300.00 and I am planning on surpassing the $3,000.00 that you - my friends and family - so generously gave the last time around to help in the fight against breast cancer. At this moment however I have not raised the minimum amount, so I ask you to please help! Help me reach my goal, Help to end breast cancer, Help to make a difference !!!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 and so I signed up to do this walk the first year but just before the walk, my sister Poline was also diagnosed with breast cancer. I walked one afternoon holding a flag that honored her. They had all these flags out there that said Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Friend and so on. I was walking, crying and smiling all at the same time. What a feeling of sadness, happiness, pride and power. I know to some that sounds weird but it was very empowering to be part of a group of so many people all with very different reasons for being there. Last year I walked again as a celebration, and I loved it. This year both my sister and I have been diagnosed with breast cancer again, within just a few months of each other. So I will walk to fight and support all the others that have come to know of this pain. I wish to help others and myself by taking part in this event.

The odds of someone you know having breast cancer is all to high and I have seen my sister and a dear friend battle cancer in the past few years, so please help me to help others in the fight against breast cancer.
